GROWING up in Wangaratta, my parents always taught me to say what you do, and do what you say.
That’s how I’ve approached every day for the past four years — keeping my promises, and delivering for all Victorians.
Our economy is now leading the nation, and since we came to government around 390,000 jobs have been created.

I’m not taking credit for every one of those jobs — no government should. But by investing in big infrastructure projects we need, we’ve been getting Victorians into good, secure jobs building our state.
I promised Labor would remove 50 dangerous and congested level crossings by 2022. Well, 29 are already gone — ahead of schedule — and if we’re re-elected we’ll remove a total of 75 by 2025.
In 2014, the Liberal government was at war with paramedics, and response times were the worst on the mainland. Labor ended the ambulance crisis — and we’ve delivered the best ambulance response times on record.
The Police Academy is full because we’re recruiting 3135 new police to help keep the community safe.
We said we’d save TAFE from Liberal cuts and closures, and we did. Now we’re making TAFE even better, with free priority courses to give every Victorian the skills they need for the job they want.
We’re upgrading 1300 schools, and if re-elected we’ll open 100 new schools so that every family has a good-quality school close to home.

We’re building the big projects we need — like the Regional Rail Revival, West Gate Tunnel and North East Link, and the Metro Tunnel to run more trains more often.
If we’re re-elected we’ll start work on the biggest transformation of public transport in our history. The Suburban Rail Loop will connect every major rail line from Cheltenham to Werribee, with 12 new underground stations. By giving people a real alternative to driving, it will take 200,000 cars off our major roads.
We’re putting solar panels on more than 700,000 rooftops — to give Victorians free power from the sun and save you around $900 a year on electricity bills. And we’ll provide world-class healthcare close to home — rebuilding hospitals across the state, employing 1100 more nurses and midwives, and funding 500,000 appointments with medical specialists for regional Victorians.
We’ve still got a lot more to do. With your support, the Labor government will keep delivering for all Victorians.
