SAVE Williamstown will host a state election candidates forum on Wednesday, October 29.

Although the group was formed to fight the high-rise Port Phillip Woollen Mills apartment development, the forum will not be confined to this topic.

Spokesman Godfrey Moase said the forum was an opportunity to make sure the next government heard the voices of Hobsons Bay residents when it came to heritage, sustainable development and investing in community infrastructure.

What issues are you most concerned about this state election? Tell us below.

“Come along, ask a question, get your issues across — whether it’s looking after local heritage, community safety, local business or access to health and education,’’ he said.

Mr Moase said Williamstown Labor MP Wade Noonan and Greens candidate Simon Crawford had confirmed they would attend the forum.

The forum is on at 7pm at the Williamstown RSL.

Seating is limited to 140 people.
