Mr Edbrooke said the upgrade would mean the next generation of Frankston’s sporting stars had the great facilities they deserved.

Liberal Party candidate Michael Lamb has promised more than $8 million towards a new regional tennis and gymnastics centre at Centenary Park, Frankston.

The planned regional hub for gymnastics and tennis at Centenary Park will include a dedicated and fully equipped gymnastics centre, 16 new competition ready tennis courts, female friendly change rooms, a cafeteria, and function spaces.
