THE building site for a new house that will be auctioned as part of the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal has been revealed.
The 41sqm home will be built in Mickleham and will feature five bedrooms, comprising of two master suites and three secondary bedrooms, two bathrooms, five living spaces and a double garage.
Building company Henley and real estate developer Villawood have partnered to present the home, which is expected to fetch at least $700,000.
It is anticipated more than 400 tradies and suppliers will donate labour and materials.
Last year’s Henley & Villawood Charity Home sold for $627,500, all for charity.
The standing record for the RCH GFA Charity Home Auction is $717,000 in 2014 for a house in Villawood’s Plumpton estate.
Builders started construction yesterday and the project is expected to be completed in early February.
The auction is scheduled for March 30 and will take place outside the property.
