THE Tiger army is out to prove there are no limits to what it will do to celebrate and remember Richmond’s first premiership in 37 years.
From tattooing their bodies to cutting their hair, diehard fans’ obsession with Dustin Martin shows no signs of slowing down.
One fan has paid the ultimate tribute to the Brownlow and Norm Smith medallist, inking the Richmond star’s likeness on his backside.
WHAT DUSTY’S TATTOOS REALLY MEAN
Perth man and Richmond fanatic Ryan Wilhelm lived up to his end of the bargain after the Tigers’ drought-breaking AFL premiership, Perth Now reports.
Wilhelm made a bet that he would get a tattoo of the grand final hero, should Richmond team win their first flag in 37 years.
In Victoria, supporters today packed out former club champion Jake King’s South Melbourne tattoo shop, City of Ink, to have the special day engraved in their skin permanently.
“From the moment we walked in the door there were at least 40 emails, we had another 30 message us on Facebook and 60 phone calls throughout the day,” King said.
“Ninety-five per cent of them have been getting the Richmond logo with Premiers 2017. They’re booked in for the rest of the week.”
“I’m so grateful they’re coming to me.”
Tiger tragic Stuart O’Neill, 51, got his third bit of ink in memory of the sweet victory.
“I just want a Tiger somewhere on my body,” he said. “I love my team and I want this memory with me forever.
“I’ve got a one-way ticket to Richmond and I have no plans of going home to NSW.”
But one footy fan is already regretting his premiership ink after jumping the gun and getting “Crows Premiers 2017” inked on his skin.
