The TV presenter led the fashion pack for online UK retailer Next under the blade outside Melbourne Museum as part of the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival.

“I love the feeling of walking in a runway show. There’s the music and the crowd, it’s exciting,” Judd says.

Prior to the show she was apprehensive about how three-year-old Billie would cope seeing her mum on the catwalk for the first time and whether she would want to jump up and join her.

Judd says five-year-old Oscar would be too shy to consider a career on the catwalk but Billie may be more interested in following in her fashionable footsteps.

“She loves the attention, so who knows,” she says.

It’s been two years since Judd has walked in a parade and she was thrilled to be asked to walk in the show, particularly because it’s an accessible family friendly brand.

“It’s great for the whole family. It’s fun to have mine here,” she says

With her almost six-month-old twins at home with her mother, Judd cut a fine figure in a selection of new season looks for the popular high street brand.

The show was a prelude to the premium runways inside the Royal Exhibition Building for VAMFF.

Sophisticated and feminine looks from leading designers Ginger & Smart, Carla Zampatti, Yeojin Bae, macgraw, Manning Cartel, Romance was Born and Dion Lee were showcased in the first runway.

Camilla and Marc presented a dramatic showcase of their autumn winter collection in the Grand Showcase.

The stirring strains of a 21-piece orchestra created a beautiful accompaniment to their signature sleek, chic and tailored pieces on show.

“It’s really special to showcase our collection in this way. There’s nothing like it in scale,” designer Marc Freeman says.

Models walked down a 57m long pink carpet in an ode to David Lynch.

“It’s a bit like walking through a grand lounge room,” Freeman says.
