Police are investigating after a man was found dead in the Yarra River on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Southbank after a body was located in the water about 5.20am.
Water police attended and retrieved the body as officers took photos of the surrounding area.
A section of the dock and footpath remains taped off.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
