Police car rammed outside Mornington Racecourse and man on run in Holden Commodore

A man is on the run after he rammed a police car outside Mornington Racecourse this morning.

Police are looking for man, after a silver Holden Commodore rammed a police car at Mornington Racecouse.

A MAN is on the run after he rammed a police car outside Mornington Racecourse this morning.

Officers tried to stop the silver Holden Commodore in the course carpark on Mornington Tyabb Rd just after 5am but he smashed into the police car.

The driver then fled the scene in his car.

The police officers were not injured in the smash.

The attack on police comes just a day after two officers were violently assaulted in a shocking 3am brawl in St Kilda yesterday.
