Police fine six people after maskless pictures of Kevin Sheedy and Victorian Coalition MPs
AFL great Kevin Sheedy has so far escaped punishment for what he dubbed a “picture with fans” that saw maskless Opposition MPs fined.

Police have fined a sixth person $100 for failing to wear a mask indoors after issuing penalties to five Opposition MPs.
But AFL great Kevin Sheedy says he is yet to be handed one after appearing in the photos which were shared online.
“I haven’t received a fine notice yet but I’m expecting one,” Sheedy said.
“I had a photo with two Essendon supporters without a mask on.
“I’ll do anything for my fans, even if it cost $400 for me to have a picture with fans without my mask on.
“I’ve received two Orders of Australia … so I see it as an Australian duty to honour my commitment to all parties of Australia, but I assure you I’m not a party animal.”
Opposition Leader Matthew Guy confirmed on Monday he had received a fine along with National Leaders Peter Walsh and three other state Coalition MPs.
These were David Davis, Gary Blackwood and Melina Bath.
Police began making inquiries after photos appeared on social media of the Coalition attending a speech from Essendon great Kevin Sheedy at the Victorian parliament.
In the pictures, multiple MPs appeared to be maskless while indoors.
Mr Guy’s office on Monday said they had co-operated with the investigation and the MPs would pay the fines promptly.
They also reiterated calls to removal face mask mandates in low-risk settings.
Earlier, Opposition Leader Matthew Guy said he would co-operate with police.
But Mr Guy hit out at the guidelines and said they should be simplified.
