Pedestrian killed by bus on Mickleham Rd
A woman crossing the Mickleham Rd exit of the Tullamarine Freeway was hit and killed by a bus early this morning, causing traffic delays as police shut down surrounding roads.

A woman was hit and killed by a bus on the Mickleham Rd exit of the Tullamarine Freeway this morning.
The woman, who is yet to be identified, died at the scene.
She was struck about 5.30am.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Natalie Butler said: “It is believed the woman was crossing Mickleham Road at pedestrian lights near the entry ramp to the Tullamarine Freeway.”

The bus driver stopped at the scene.
No passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash.
Police want to speak with a truck driver who pulled over and briefly spoke with the bus driver.
The Mickleham Rd inbound entry ramp will remain closed for most of the morning but access to the Tullamarine Freeway and M80 Ring Road is accessible from Melrose Drive.
