Man on Qantas flight screamed at other passengers: ’If you don’t get away from me, I will f*** you’

An unhinged passenger had to be pinned to the floor of a Qantas flight after a disturbing rant where he screamed at fellow passengers and launched at a flight attendant.

An unhinged passenger launched at a flight attendant, asking for a kiss before being pinned to the cabin floor for hours during a flight from Bali to Melbourne.

Disturbing camera footage shows the 28-year-old Victorian man unravelling on flight QF46.

He could be seen standing on his seat before lunging at a female flight attendant, saying: “No, no listen baby. Give me a kiss”.

The flight attendant held her arms up in defence as another airline worker ran to her aid.

The man was also heard screaming at passengers, “If you don’t get away from me, I will f*** you” and “I just want to stay alive”.

It reportedly took five people to take down and restrain the man.

He was held on the cabin floor, hands tied, for four hours before being handed over to the Australian Federal Police at Melbourne Airport.

Several passengers helped restrain the man.

Police took him to hospital for treatment, with charges not yet laid.

The man could face bans from the airline.

Qantas has confirmed an incident occurred on board flight QF46 during the flight between Denpasar and Melbourne.
“The safety of our customers and our crew is our number one priority and we have zero tolerance for disruptive or threatening behaviour,” a Qantas spokesperson said.

An Australian Federal Police spokesperson said a 28-year-old Victorian man was questioned by police before being taken for medical assessment.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and no charges have been laid.
