Investigations into the death of murdered Sydenham woman Vicki Ramadan have revealed the 77-year-old may not have been seen since sometime in March.
Detectives have today discounted previous reports Mrs Ramadan was sighted on Gourlay Road, Hillside in the week before her death.
The “kind” and “independent old lady” was found dead in her hallway on April 6.

A neighbour made the gruesome discovery at the Marlborough Way home, where detectives believe Mrs Ramadan was “brutally assaulted”.
An autopsy revealed Ms Ramadan died of blunt force trauma, possibly involving a weapon.
Earlier this week, Homicide Squad Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper described her murder as “absolutely brutal”.
“This was an absolutely brutal murder of an innocent 77-year-old woman in her own home,” he said.
“She was a defenceless member of the community.
Ms Ramadan lived alone opposite an abandoned home used by squatters, and had reported multiple break-ins.
She told neighbours she woke to find intruders in her home, and had fled to Queensland after receiving a death threat from a squatter.
Mrs Ramadan was known to walk about her neighbourhood and was a regular public transport user, often shopping at nearby Watergardens shopping centre.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen Vicki at any time in March or April to come forward.
