Police are desperately trying to find the driver of a silver Toyota Hilux who helped at the scene of a tragic fatal crash.
It is believed the male driver stopped to assist after the collision at the intersection of Huntingdale Rd and Estelle St in Mt Waverley.
He left before providing police with his details.
It’s believed a truck and motorbike rider collided near the Monash Freeway about 7.30am on September 6.
CCTV footage shows multiple vehicles on the scene in the aftermath of the crash with police begging for witnesses to come forward.
The 58-year-old motorbike rider sadly died at the scene while the 35-year-old Cranbourne West truck driver was not injured.
He has been interviewed by police and released pending further inquiries.
