MICHAEL Hurley has a thing for outlandish hairstyles.
FIRST it was his dreadlocks, but now in his year away from the game, the Essendon defender took up a new challenge.
The result? One of the more frightful, yet impressive, beards you will ever see.
But now, he wants to feel the wind on his chin again, and is aiming to raise $20,000 towards the MAD foundation before shaving it off.
“Looking forward to the beard coming off and raising some money for such an amazing charity!” Hurley said on Instagram.
The Bombers star’s beard has been on somewhat of a world tour in 2016, visiting London, Croatia, Amsterdam and Greece.
Previously Hurley has raised over $17,000 for the MAD foundation when he shaved off his dreadlocks in 2015.
So far he has raised $1,570 for his beard shave, and you can donate by clicking here.
