Melbourne weather: Victorian spring to heat up this week
After a chilly start to the week, Melbourne is in for a glorious high of 23C on Thursday and Friday. But enjoy it while you can, because the warm weather isn’t going to last long.

It might have been cold this morning, but that will change dramatically on Thursday.
There is currently snow in Canberra and the temperature was edging towards 0C in some areas of Victoria this morning, but warm weather is on the way.
After today’s sunny high of 15C, Melbourne will be blessed with a 19C day tomorrow.

The city will be bathed in sunshine on Thursday and Friday.
Melbourne will hit tops of 23C on both days before showers settle in on Friday evening.
That will be the start of a cool weekend, with rain to be a constant on Saturday and Sunday, when the temperature won’t get above 15C.
The colder weather is set to continue into next week, with a shower or two and a top of 15C expected on Monday.

Mildura, in the state’s north, will get to 28C on Thursday but it will be far from pleasant.
There is a possibility of raised dust in the morning and afternoon.
Most regions are also in for warmer days, with Geelong (23C and 22C), Bendigo (21C and 22C), Traralgon (23C and 24C) looking good for Thursday and Friday, while Ballarat (17C and 19C) will be cooler.
