Melbourne Royal Show is back with a bang

Don’t count your chickens before they hatch, as the Melbourne Royal Show have announced two new and exclusive attractions that are sure to excite show-goers.

This year young attendees are invited into the world of the farmer and will be given the opportunity to walk in the gumboots of the agricultural heroes at the heart of this beloved annual event.

The Little Farmers Field is a new free activity where kids can dig up fresh veggies, pick orchard apples, collect eggs, pretend to sheer a sheep, ride a Kubota tractor, and feed the baby animals.

Show-goers will also be treated to a brand-new LEGO Playland Pavillion that aims to bring farm and city together, mimicking real life through plastic bricks.

Expect iconic life-size LEGO characters, master classes from master brick builders, interactive zones, a DUPLO farm, a LEGO city and more, all housed in a 15,000 sq ft pavilion.

“At the Melbourne Royal Show we are the cultivators of happiness”, Executive General Manager Hannah Von Bibra said.

“We want to make sure we are putting smiles on families faces so let your imagination run wild”.
