CATS out of the bag — a Melbourne moggy has been ranked one of the most pur-fect looking pussycats in the world.
Mr Mittens has clawed his way to the ‘scratching’ pole position on the Rate My Cat App last fortnight.
Owner Barron Corbett is fe-line good about Mr Mittens popularity on the global smartphone app, which he has dubbed ‘Tinder for cats’.

“You swipe and there is another cat for you to rate out of five,” he said.
“If you like it, you give it five stars.”
Mr Mittens’ isn’t pussyfooting around in his profile photo. His piano-playing portrait has earned him more than a whisker of votes.
Mr Corbett downloaded the app for a bit of fun a couple of weeks ago and his girlfriend Nichola Wilson didn’t approve.
“She said: ‘don’t put him on there, you’re going to be disappointed’. Look who’s laughing now,” Mr Corbett said.
Mr Mittens was far from a model moggy when the Essendon couple found him on their doorstep two years ago. He’d been abandoned and was in need of a new home.
“He was a street cat about to die, we had to fatten him up a bit,” he said.
“He’d been begging at every door in the street and was looking like a skeleton.”
The Rate My Cat smartphone app was launched in the United Kingdom last January.
Users upload photos of their cats to be rated by others.
