Man’s body pulled from water at Sandringham beach
A man has died at Sandringham beach after he was pulled from the water on Friday afternoon.

The body of a man has been pulled from the water at a popular beach in Melbourne’s southeast on Friday.
Emergency services were called to Sandringham beach a little after midday after reports of a man’s body found floating in the water.
Police said the man was yet to be identified and that his death was not suspicious.
“Police will prepare a report for the Coroner after a man was located in waters off Sandringham this afternoon,” a spokesperson said.
“Emergency services attended about 12.30pm but the yet to be identified man could not be revived.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”
The likely drowning comes in the wake of one of the state’s most dangerous summers on the water.
