Man with rebuilt face gets glassed in club

A MAN who broke every bone in his face when he fell four storeys has been glassed at a nightclub.

A VICTORIAN man who broke every bone in his face after falling from a four-storey building while overseas was back in hospital on Saturday night after he was glassed at a Geelong nightclub.

Just months after major reconstructive surgery, Josh Filbay, 20 of Newtown, required more attention on his now-famous face after he was glassed at popular nightclub Room 99, the Geelong Advertiser said.

Mr Filbay did not want to go into detail about the attack with the Geelong Advertiser last night, but he confirmed he had been glassed.

Images posted on social networking site Facebook show a bloodied Mr Filbay standing inside Geelong Hospital's emergency department with a bandage on his ear.

Friends of the former Geelong High School student commented on the photo just hours after it had been posted.

"One thing after another babe, what are we going to do with you," Elli Calder posted.

"Mate you would have lost that much blood in your life it's not funny," Ryan James Doh commented.

Mr Filbay said it was his "first night out in months".

Police last night said they were unaware of any incident at the club on Saturday.

Mr Filbay cheated death after he plummeted more than 10m from a building and landed on his head while backpacking in Belfast in August this year.

In the fall Mr Filbay broke every bone in his face, knocked out every tooth, broke his kneecaps and smashed bones in both wrists.
