An investigation is underway into the Prahran nightclub where two men were gunned down in April, with allegations that Love Machine breached its license by cramming too many revellers into the venue.

Nightclub Love Machine is under investigation for alleged breaches to its liquor licence, the Herald Sun understands.
It comes as pressure builds on the club and how it was operating in the lead-up to a fatal drive-by shooting which killed security guard Aaron Osmani and patron Richard Arow in April.
It is believed complaints have been aired to the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation about how many people were being let through the doors over the weekends.
There are allegations the number of people let in had breached what the club was licensed for.
Sources linked to the club say it would not be uncommon for about 1000 people to be crammed into the venue — about double the number allowed on its licence.
“We could get about 2000 people in and out of the door throughout the night and many were just allowed in,” the insider said.
“They just didn’t care how it operated as long as the club was full.”
A nearby resident said: “Before the shooting, there were lines all the way down the street, it was always busy.”

In a statement VCGLR spokesman Rick Edwards would not go into specifics about any allegations aired.
“To ensure confidence in the complaints process the VCGLR does not make comment on specific complaints received,” he said.
“The VCGLR is aware of the public nature of recent events referencing the venue known as Love Machine, including matters currently under investigation by Victoria Police.”
