THE spark between Myer and Kris Smith has been reignited with the model signing a new one-year deal with the retail giant.

THE spark between Myer and Kris Smith has been reignited with the model signing a new one-year deal with the retail giant.

The jungle drums had been beating midyear suggesting Smith was on his way out, but the new year brought with it a new contract.

“I have loved my time here from day one and I am just flattered and honoured each time they ask me to re-sign. I am absolutely over the moon about it,’’ Smith said.

His catwalk appearance, however, will be limited.

``If there is a place for me to do catwalk again, I will jump at that chance,’’ he said.

Meanwhile Karlie Kloss, one of the world’s most in-demand models is in Melbourne to take in the tennis before heading to Sydney on Monday for modelling duties with David Jones.

Kloss is a serious tennis enthusiast and mates with Serena Williams. She was courtside last night watching Serena take on her sister Venus in the Australian Open women’s final.
