Keilor Heights Primary School students being bullied as they enter school grounds

Unsettling footage has emerged of pre-teen students engaging in extreme bullying at a primary school in Melbourne’s north.

Keilor Heights Primary School taunted by bullies

Children as young as 11 are waiting at the school gates to taunt and abuse their fellow students, as well as subjecting them to sickening bullying attacks.

The Herald Sun can reveal pupils at Keilor Heights Primary School are being targeted by bullies who are assaulting students in the playground and attacking them online in several vile videos.

Most of the bullies attend the school, while another goes to a nearby college.

Confronting footage shows the young perpetrators at a bus stop taunting their female victim including making sickening threats such as killing her parents.

“I don’t give a s**t what your parents say, I’ll f***ing kill them,” the female bully said.

In another video, a boy is seen making homophobic slurs towards the same victim.

“F***ing Lesbian … No boy will ever like you,” he said.

Some of the students have reported being targeted in the schoolyard and at the front gates after school.

It comes after it was revealed last month that teachers at the school were under “constant stress”, saying they had been targeted by aggressive students.

A number of teachers are understood to have lodged WorkCover claims due to alleged assaults and mental stress.

Parents of victims say several videos showing extreme cyber bullying have circulated on social media platforms publicly and within group chats.

They have made a report to the nation’s eSafety Commissioner.

One mother, whose daughter has been “relentlessly” targeted by the bullies since January, said her complaints to the school about the abuse had fallen on “deaf ears”.

“The videos have been deeply traumatising for my daughter and despite going to the school directly and reporting this to the Education Department, nothing has happened,” she said.

“I feel helpless because I want to protect my daughter as she is being targeted for no reason.

“Other children are also being bullied by the lead perpetrator, but their safety is not being taken into consideration.

“There have been numerous complaints about the bullies and my daughter and other children should feel safe when attending school.”

Another parent, whose son has been targeted by one of the school bullies for months, said she was also frustrated by the lack of action from the school to protect students.

“My son has been assaulted numerous times, it’s awful,” the mother said.

“I don’t understand why the school continues to put this bully’s welfare first over our children.

“Our kids should go to school feeling safe and not worried about having a target on their backs.”

A Department of Education spokesman said the behaviour shown in the videos was disturbing and distressing.

“It does not reflect the behaviour of the broader student community at Keilor Heights Primary School and does not reflect the safe and inclusive school culture the staff work hard to develop,” he said.

“The school takes appropriate disciplinary action when any bullying behaviour occurs but does not comment on action taken against individual students.”
