GEELONG star Jimmy Bartel is back!
After 200 days of growing a beard to raise awareness about the issue of domestic violence, the clean shaven Brownlow Medallist is his old self.
“He’s handsome again, the sexiest player again,” said happy wife Nadia Bartel.
“You’re looking very young Jim.”
Bartel lost the bushy locks with the help of South Yarra hairdresser Joey Scandizzo ahead of today’s TAB Spring Carnival launch.

“I’m proud of what it’s achieved, but glad it’s gone,” Bartel said.
“Just my son (Aston) is the only one who used to grab onto it. It was a great little toy or game. Tonight when I see him he might be in a little bit of shock.
“It’s something we don’t talk about in society and I thought what a great conversation starter.”
The Geelong superstar, with a significant contribution from TAB, is still raising money for his #FaceUPToDV campaign, with all money raised going to The Luke Batty Foundation and Bethany, a Geelong based family service organisation.
