EVER wondered how much real cheese is in Cheezels? Or chicken in chicken noodles? They answers in these pie graphs shouldn’t come as any real surprise.

IT’S long been accepted that many brands of chicken-flavoured snacks come in contact with real chicken in the same way that the Ringwood Bypass comes in contact with Ringwood.

Just because its packaging advertises one main flavour boldly, doesn’t necessarily mean that a product contains that ingredient much, if at all.

So just how much cheese is in Cheezels, orange in Fanta and chicken in chicken noodles?

Below, the Herald Sun Department of Internet represents the main flavour of 15 supermarket foods as a portion of their ingredients through pie graphs.

We were disheartened but not entirely surprised by the results.
