It’s the drink that’s all over social media. With only three ingredients, you can cure your caffeine withdrawals in no time. Here’s how you can make dalgona coffee while working from home.

Whether you have seen it on TikTok, Facebook or Instagram, dalgona coffee has been dubbed the go-to “quarantine drink” during the current pandemic.
With Victorian restrictions unlikely to be lifted before May 11, Melburnians are getting their caffeine fix without having to venture outdoors.
Dalgona coffee originated in South Korea after actor Jung Il-woo ordered whipped coffee during an appearance on a TV show.
He said it tasted like dalgona which was a popular honeycomb toffee treat in Korea during the 1970s.
People began making homemade versions without the honeycomb on YouTube and from there, it become a popular trend on other social media platforms.
HOW TO MAKE DALGONA COFFEE
The recipe is quite simple.
All you need is two tablespoons of instant coffee, sugar and hot water.
Pour ingredients into a bowl.
Whisk for 15 minutes until mixture is whipped.
Add ice to a glass with 1 cup of milk of choice.
Place whipped coffee on top.
