MELBURNIANS reacted to the city’s entire train network shutting down a mix of meme humour and genuine frustration. Especially after Metro apologised.
Twitter went into meltdown after Melbourne’s entire network grinded to a halt just after 4pm on Thursday.
WANT COMPO? METRO SAYS: ‘FILL IN A FORM’
Some of the best tweets, which you can see below, brought humour to an otherwise frustrating event.
But Metro Trains received little humour - or sympathy - after they tweeted an apology about three hours later, with most responses demanding compensation:
