Hazelwood Power Station’s last boiler house demolished

The long-planned demolition was postponed last week due to bad weather.
A huge cloud of dust enveloped the remaining buildings as the boiler house crashed to the ground.
Hazelwood was closed permanently in 2017 and the power station’s eight 137m chimneys were destroyed in a controlled demolition in May last year.
