Football great Gary Ablett Senior proved his hands are still as dangerous as ever when he took a ripper catch during a local cricket match near Geelong on Saturday.
The 58-year-old AFL legend played for the Torquay Cricket Club fourths in the season decider against East Belmont.

His sporting prowess was on show when he took a catch and bowled a few overs, even grabbing a wicket, at Estuary Estate Oval.
But when lashing rain stopped play, the few spectators at the ground were treated to an even better display.
As kids ran on to the field with Sherrins, Ablett Sr — arguably the greatest AFL player the game has seen — couldn’t resist having a kick.
The Sherrin in his hand was like an extension of himself as he marked it and sent it flying through the air of his boot.
He didn’t mind having a few kicks of the soccer ball either.
