The identity of former Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle’s new young partner has been uncovered following his split from wife Emma Page Campbell. The new lovers were spotted wining and dining between lockdowns.

Embattled former Melbourne lord mayor Robert Doyle’s new love interest has been revealed.
Doyle split with wife Emma Page Campbell some time ago but he’s moved on with a new, younger partner.
She is understood to be Emma Hingston, a media and marketing professional.
Sources say the couple met through friends some years ago before a romantic relationship began recently.
In between lockdowns, Mr Doyle, 67, was spotted earlier this month at Lamaro’s Hotel in South Melbourne with Ms Hingston, aged in her 30s.
The pair were seen at the gastropub enjoying a bottle of rose before swapping to red.
His new partner was also overheard on the phone arranging the purchase of a Burberry puffer jacket for about $6000.
Mr Doyle later introduced the young brunette to fellow diners at the South Melbourne eatery owned by former AFL footballer Paul Dimattina, joking she was “my new Emma”.
Mr Doyle’s marriage to Ms Page Campbell is believed to have collapsed after visits to a mental health facility and career-ending claims he sexually harassed colleagues.
On Sunday, Mr Doyle was photographed at coastal getaway Anglesea with his son.
Asked why he was there despite Melburnians being banned from leaving the city, Mr Doyle reportedly said he was on an “access visit” with his six-year-old son, who is his only child with second wife Ms Page Campbell.
The government’s COVID-19 restrictions do not prevent parental visits as part of custody arrangements.
Mr Doyle also has three adult children, Andy, Bridie and Antonia, from his first marriage of nearly 20 years to Jennifer Ramsden.
He has not responded to calls about his new love from the Herald Sun.
Mr Doyle has kept a low profile since he quit as mayor and as chairman of Melbourne Health in 2018 as sexual harassment allegations were aired by several women, including fellow councillors Tessa Sullivan and Cathy Oke.
Last month, Victoria Police closed an investigation into allegations, saying there was insufficient evidence.
But an independent report commissioned by Melbourne City Council, released earlier this month, found Mr Doyle inappropriately touched a woman at a Melbourne Health function in 2016.
Mr Doyle, also a former leader of the state Liberal Party, was alleged to have repeatedly placed his hand on the inside of Kharla Williams’ leg while sitting next to her at a black-tie dinner.
He was also accused of touching Ms Williams’ lower back near her buttocks and making inappropriate comments towards her.
Ms Page Campbell last spoke out in 2018 defending Mr Doyle, who has always denied any wrongdoing.
“I stood beside him when he stood down as leader of the Victorian Liberal Party and I stand beside him now as he relinquishes the roles of Lord Mayor and chair of Melbourne Health,” she said. “He is a good and decent man. I love him.”
