CONTROVERSIAL former Richmond player Jake King has bought into the South Melbourne tattoo studio owned by former bikie Toby Mitchell.

King owns a 50 per cent share in City of Ink, on Clarendon St, with Mitchell and a third party retaining the other half of the business.

Mitchell, who is on remand after allegedly being caught with 168.2 grams of cocaine and 381 grams of ice last September, opened the shop late in 2014.

“When the opportunity presented itself to buy into the shop, I jumped at it,” King said.
