“At this stage, police haven’t received a formal report of an assault but appeal for anyone who was involved and or anyone who may have been injured in the incident to please come forward,” she said.

The vision of the assault has been provided to police and is being looked at as part of the investigation.

The video was posted by Jacqui Felgate to Instagram after the Collingwood and Carlton match on Sunday afternoon.

It comes after a 26-year-old man was charged for allegedly bashing a footy fan with a didgeridoo outside the MCG after last weeks Dreamtime clash. Other incidents included a police officer being bitten, another assaulted and more than 50 fans evicted from the match.
