MELBURNIANS have rallied around the owner of an iconic vintage photo booth at Flinders St Station after Metro Trains told him he had to move.
The black and white photo booth has sat at Flinders St for 56 years but faces the boot due to renovation works.

Owner Alan Adler, 85, put up a handwritten note this month telling customers May 23 would be their last chance to take a snap.
The Herald Sun understands Mr Adler was unhappy with several alternative locations at the station suggested by Metro.
A Facebook post about the shock closure has been shared hundreds of times and garnered thousands of comments from locals bemoaning the decision.
Regina Kelly wrote: “This legend lives on our wall! So sad.”

Supporters have started a letter-writing campaign to petition Metro to reconsider moving the booth.
Metro Trains spokesman Andrew Nelson said: “Flinders Street Station is undergoing works to improve the amenity and accessibility of one of our city’s great cultural icons.”
“We understand the significance of this photo booth and are working closely with the owner to find a new location at the station.”
