THE father of the young man accused of killing Eurydice Dixon has hit out at online trolls and revealed his despair that he will “never get to hug” his son again.
Jason Todd’s son, Jaymes, has been charged with the rape and murder of Ms Dixon.
“I’ve offered my condolences to Eurydice’s family (a futile gesture I understand) … but I’ve also experienced loss,” Mr Todd wrote on social media.
“I’ll never get to see my son get married, have children, buy a house … damn, I’ll never be able to hug him again.

“By the time he gets out, I’ll be dead.
“And you, Mr Sensitive, decide it’s a good idea to show me how much you care by sending me this.”
Mr Todd attacked “sneaky” people posting s--- in public” and shared screenshots of one of his tormentors’ posts.
Aimed at Mr Todd, it reads: “Hope you’re proud to have raised a rapist and a murderer … LOL your son is going to get his in prison … he will scream so hard,” one user wrote.
Mr Todd posted screenshots from the user’s Facebook page in an apparent attempt to shame them.
The Herald Sun has chosen not to name the user.
The distraught father ended his missive with the #MeToo hashtag.
He has previously apologised for his son’s alleged actions, labelling them “disgusting”.
His statements came hours before thousands of mourners gathered in Princes Park for a candlelight vigil.
The posts were deleted shortly after the Herald Sun began making inquiries.
The gruesome death of Ms Dixon, 22, stunned the nation and has sparked debate over violence against women.
Hundreds of thousands of posts flooded social media in the wake of her death with the majority expressing grief and solidarity with women.

Dozens of friends offered support for Mr Todd on Monday.
“Ignore,” said one supporter. “Sending you as much love as possible, Jason. You know how many of us are here for you,” wrote another supporter.
