Elle Macpherson to attend Lexus marquee on Derby Day

RACING’S glamour stakes is set to be raised with Lexus announcing that a famous celebrity, known around the world by just her first name, will be a guest of their exclusive Birdcage marquee on Derby Day.

ELLE Macpherson is set to raise racing’s glamour stakes at this year’s Melbourne Cup carnival, attending the iconic event for the first time.

Lexus are first out of the gates in the race to secure A-list talent with the Victoria Racing Club’s new principal partner announcing today that the supermodel will be an exclusive guest of their Birdcage marquee on Derby Day.

“I am excited be coming back to Australia in November as a guest of Lexus,” Macpherson, 54, said.

Elle Macpherson is set to raise racing’s glamour stakes on Derby Day.

“Australia is always home for me and I try to get back as often as I can. I think Australia is an incredible country and I always love coming home.”

Scott Thompson, chief executive Lexus Australia said they were thrilled to be welcoming Macpherson to their new-look marquee.

This year, the Lexus Design Pavilion will cover an expansive 1000 SQM across three levels of luxury and opulence.
