EDDIE McGuire joins the Sunday Herald Sun this weekend as our guest sports editor.

The Pies President leads a team of the biggest stars of Channel Nine who write for the Sunday Herald Sun.

Eddie returns to the newspaper where he first worked as a young teenager.

“It’s great to be back at the Sunday Herald Sun,’’ McGuire said this week.

“I first came into the newsroom as a 13 year old wide-eyed boy, the smell of all the lino type, all the ink around the place and the clattering of the typewriters.

“It was a different world back then but today the news values haven’t changed.’’
