A DRIVER, who was allegedly over the limit, faces a string of charges after losing control of his 4WD while hauling a boat with his three mates on board.

Police believe the three men had been standing in the boat as they were travelling along Coppards Rd in Moolap, near Geelong, about 9pm on Saturday when the hijinx went wrong.
The 22-year-old driver, from Newcomb, who attempted to complete a turn before allegedly hitting a kerb, sending his vulnerable passengers flying, was arrested and is expected to be charged on summons with driving offences including conduct endangering life and drink driving.
The three men, aged in their 20s, from Corio, Belmont and Newcomb were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
