Dramatic moment Hilux flips on Flemington Rd

A dash cam has captured the moment a four-wheel drive flies into the air and rolls after a scary smash on one of Melbourne’s busiest roads.

This is the moment a Toyota Hilux rolled in a terrifying crash on Flemington Rd in Parkville.

The four-wheel drive came to grief after a Ford Falcon drove out into the busy Elliott Ave intersection.

The footage, uploaded by Dash Cam Owners Australia to YouTube on Wednesday, shows the Hilux clip the front of the Falcon as it crosses Flemington Rd, flying into the air before crashing on its side and rolling.

The Ford had driven off from the lights - believed to be red - when the Hilux crosses in front at speed, the two vehicles colliding in the middle of the intersection.

Debris spills from the Toyota as it rolls.

Other drivers rush to the aid of the Hilux driver.

The condition of both drivers is unknown.
