SO you think your dog sleeps all day while you’re out? You’ll think again when you see what Atticus was caught doing on his owner’s home spycam.

EVER wondered what your dog gets up to when you’re off at work all day?

One dog owner wondered just that — and this was the hilarious result.

Anna Frisch from Geelong set up a Petcube home camera to keep a constant eye on her one-year-old shar pei, Atticus, whenever she’s at work.

And it turns out Atticus likes to work out as much as she does.

Atticus the shar pei works out on his owner’s exercise mat while she’s at work.

Ms Frisch set up her mat and dumbbell before heading to work so she’d be inspired to do her “28 by Sam Wood” workout as soon as she came home.

“If I see it glaring at me I’m more inclined to exercise,” she says.

Atticus takes a break.

“I checked in this day to find him stretching on my mat I had set up to do my workout on after work.

“I’m not sure if it’s just a coincidence he chose that spot to stretch — I like to think he’s taking after me doing my 28 workouts.”

And now we’ve seen Atticus’s cat stretch, we can’t wait to see his downward dog.
