Dockless share bike found dumped on raft in Albert Park Lake
STOP us if you’ve heard this before: dockless share bikes have been found abandoned in Melbourne. This discovery, however, might be the strangest yet: a fleet of bikes on a raft in the middle of Albert Park Lake.

ANOTHER fleet of dockless share bike has been found in a curious predicament, moored on a raft in the middle of Albert Park Lake.
It is the latest — and strangest — dumping ground for Melbourne's oBikes, which have a history of being left in odd positions.

Punters have previously snapped oBikes taped to a lamp post, left in a tree and even on top of portable toilets in Prahran.
The discovery comes only weeks after Lord Mayor Robert Doyle threatened to end the oBike scheme.
“We work hard to keep the city free of clutter. They are clutter and that must be fixed,” Cr Doyle said at the time.
