LABOR MP Vicki Ward has faced a complaint over an “almost indecipherable” declaration that flyers were publicly funded.
A declaration that state parliament paid for the Member for Eltham’s “local transport update” was included in fine print in the corner of the flyer.

But the complainant, who asked not to be named, told the Herald Sun that the advertising crossed the line and “got my goat”.
“It just ticked me off,” he said.
“You just about had to get a magnifying glass out to see the declaration. It’s almost indecipherable.”
The flyer carried Labor’s “getting it done” slogan and detailed “Andrews Government” projects on Bolton St, the Hurstbridge train line and the North East Link.
Legislative Assembly speaker Colin Brooks and Legislative Council president Bruce Atkinson said in response to the complaint that the declaration “could be clearer”.
The pair said they had raised the matter with Ms Ward.
But the Herald Sun understands the complaint was not upheld.
Ms Ward said yesterday: “The messages on this flyer and who authorised them are clear — the Andrews Labor Government is delivering the projects Eltham needs so locals can get home faster.”
