Child injured after kangaroo attack on Yering property in regional Victoria

A BOY has suffered facial injuries after being attacked by a kangaroo on a property in country Victoria. Paramedics treated the child for head lacerations before transporting him to the hospital.

A child attacked by a kangaroo in country Victoria has suffered facial injuries.

The boy, who is preschool age, came across the kangaroo on a property in the Victorian town of Yering shortly before 8am.

Paramedics called to the property treated him for head lacerations and transported him to the Royal Children’s Hospital where he was in a stable condition.
