Celeb stylist Elliot Garnaut loses driver’s licence
Stylist-to-the-stars Elliot Garnaut has been forced to downsize on Melbourne’s roads after losing his licence.

A prominent Melburnian celebrity stylist is hitting the road on a fancy new scooter after losing his driver’s licence.
Stylist-to-the-stars Elliot Garnaut is off the road and has taken to Instagram to show off his latest set of wheels — a motorised Ninebot model.
Mr Garnaut is a huge player in Melbourne’s fashion circles and one of Australia’s most in-demand stylists.
He is well known for dressing high profile A-listers including Jesinta Franklin, Nadia Fairfax, Rozalia Russian, Rebecca Harding, Elyse Knowles and Rebecca Maddern.
He boasts a loyal following of more than 37,000 on Instagram and is also a spokesman for the Victoria Racing Club.
But the licence suspension has meant he has had to take on a plan B to buzz around town meet demand.
Mr Garnaut took to social media on Tuesday to showcase a luxury shopping spree to accessorise his new Ninebot scooter.
“Essential eScoot accessory shopping,” Mr Garnaut said while shopping at Burberry in Melbourne.
Mr Garnaut treated himself to a vintage check backpack, which retails for $1780.
Friends captured video of him riding the scooter throughout inner city Melbourne donning his new backpack and a helmet.
Mr Garnaut moved into a $1.3 million three bedroom penthouse overlooking Albert Park Lake in 2020.
It is unclear why the stylist lost his licence.
Mr Garnaut was contacted for comment but did not return calls.
It is legal for drivers who lose their licences to use scooters as alternative transport.
But blood-alcohol regulations apply to their use on public roads.
