The usually private Riewoldt, particularly now that husband former Saints star Nick has retired, stepped out in support of Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision.

The charity is dedicated to finding a cure for bone marrow failure syndromes and was founded by the Riewoldt family following Maddie’s tragic death in February 2015.

“My relationship with Maddie means I always want to do whatever I can to help her shine on through her legacy. I’m always excited to get behind any fundraising and awareness that benefits Maddie’s Vision,” Ms Riewoldt said.

Converse and Maddie Riewoldt’s Vision have partnered for the third year to create a limited-edition range of footwear.

Forty dollars from each pair purchased is donated to find a cure.

Ms Brown, wife of former footballer Jonathan Brown, said she was glad to be able to help support the Riewoldt family and the cause.

“I have known Nick for years and the loss of Maddie was just devastating. I am so honoured to support in any way possible,” she said.
