MORE than $300,000 in allegedly stolen goods, including hundreds of tins of baby formula, were seized by detectives in Melbourne today.

DETECTIVES have seized more than $300,000 in allegedly stolen goods, including hundreds of tins of baby formula in Melbourne today.
Police executed six warrants in relation to stolen goods, one at an address in Richmond, two in Sunshine and three in Braybrook.
Police seized more than $300,000 in stolen property including hundreds of tins of baby formula and various beauty products, along with half a million in cash.
The month-long investigation resulted in the arrest of seven people who are currently in custody.
Detective Sergeant Mark Anderson said police seized a number of can of baby formula as well as beauty products.
“We found pawpaw, perfume and face creams and just the general items you can buy at the supermarkets,” he said.
“The cash found is believed to be made as a profit from selling these stolen goods.”
Sgt Anderson said the products were sold interstate and overseas, as well as in Victoria.
The following six people are assisting police with their inquiries:
A 77-year-old female from Braybrook, a33-year-old male from Sunshine, a 42-year-old female from Richmond, a 62-year-old male from Richmond, a 40-year-old Male from Cairnlea and a 31-year-old Female from Bundoora.
A 34-year-old male from Footscray has been charged with handle stolen goods and is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on February, 26 2018.
