Axed Labor MP Will Fowles has been forced to move offices following concerns from female parliamentary staff.
It comes just days after the Herald Sun revealed the parliament’s presiding officers had been asked to relocate the Member for Ringwood’s office.
It’s understood Mr Fowles’ new office is located inside the Parliament House, away from the general annex where backbench MPs and opposition and crossbench MPs are housed.
Mr Fowles, who remains a member of parliament as an independent politician, has not been sighted at parliament since he was forced to resign from the Labor caucus following an alleged serious incident.
Victoria Police last week confirmed they are investigating sexual assault allegations made against the exiled politician.
Mr Fowles has vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
Multiple sources have told the Herald Sun that the Premier’s Private Office had wanted Mr Fowles’ office to be located inside the parliament where he can be closely monitored.
A spokesman for Speaker Maree Edwards said: “The Speaker will not be commenting on any individual members of parliament as is appropriate.”
