Towns turned red yesterday as a wild dust storm swept across western Victoria.
The dramatic stormfront that raged across the state created scenes that resembled an end-of-the-world movie.
Communities including Kerang, 277km northwest of Melbourne, were swallowed up in the afternoon.
Readers turned their phones and cameras on to record the scenes as the storms - that sucked up dust caused by dry conditions - resembled large dust waves.
