Details of secret cabinet meetings have been leaked online by sacked minister Adem Somyurek as he continues to rally against Daniel Andrews.

In a series of tweets posted on Thursday Mr Somyurek claimed every cabinet meeting was opened with a review of the Premier’s online media performance.

“First item on the agenda every cabinet meeting is the size of Dans (sic) online performance,” Mr Somyurek claimed.

“It is a ritual that bores all ministers and interferes with the business of government.

“But ministers shut up – lest they offend the mad king. Dans (sic) private office contains a social media unit.”

Mr Somyurek claimed the Premier routinely called on an Adviser to report on his online performance.

“The Adviser reports glowingly about Dans (sic) big reach, comparing the size of Dans (sic) reach with the size of the PMs (sic) and other premiers in what is a weekly reach measuring contest,” Mr Somyurek claimed.

“Dan then invites ministers’ feedback.”

Mr Somyurek claimed ministers from Mr Andrews’ Socialist Left faction were always “quick off the block, effusive in their praise of their ‘dear leaders’ ‘massive’ reach”.

“Out of fear of being purged Right (faction) ministers reluctantly follow. As the Adviser returns to her seat, she is often seen rolling her eyes.”

Mr Andrews has a greater social media presence than any other Australian politician.

He has amassed more than 1 million followers on Facebook alone, 200,000 more than Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

It was revealed earlier this year the Premier spent almost $800,000 on Facebook advertising to become the site’s most popular Australian politician.

The Premier’s office was contacted for comment.
