Woman trapped after vehicle rolls between Halifax and Taylors Beach

Emergency services crews worked to free a woman who was trapped after her vehicle rolled near Ingham. Get the latest update.

Emergency services are responding to a single vehicle rollover near Ingham, where a woman in her 20s had been trapped in her vehicle.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the crash on Taylors Beach Rd, between Halifax and Taylors Beach was reported at 3.40pm.

Early information suggested that the female motorist was trapped by her seatbelt.

Eventually, she was able to free herself from the vehicle, which was laying on its side.

A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the rescue helicopter had been readied to respond but the crash victim wasn’t complaining of any injuries.

A witness at the scene said the road was blocked by the crash.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area.

Meanwhile, south of Townsville, a person was transported to Ayr Hospital in a stable condition following a bulldozer rollover at Drynie Rd, Brandon, at 2.27pm.
