A person trapped in a car which collided into a power pole in Townsville is in hospital with back injuries.
The single-vehicle crash happened on Banfield Drive, Mount Louisa, about 6.20am on Thursday.
One person was reportedly trapped, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said.
About an hour after the crash was reported the ambulance service spokesperson said the patient had back pain and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
