Townsville Police are appealing for information after two people were injured in a serious hit-and-run wreck on Saturday night.
Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics responded to a two-vehicle crash in which one rolled at the intersection of Duckworth Street and Woolcock Street in Garbutt at 9.14pm.
“Two patients both with arm injuries were transported to Townsville Hospital in stable conditions,” a QAS spokesperson said on Sunday.
Queensland Police Service confirmed they attended the accident.
A QPS spokesman said the driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene of the accident, leaving the vehicle they were driving behind.
He urged anyone with information about the driver to come forward to help police with their ongoing investigation.
